Biostatistics Unit (UBiostat). The Biostatistics Unit has the mission of generating knowledge that can help improve health. Statistical methods are essential for designing studies, analyzing data and interpreting results. We work with researchers to turn their data into useful information to advance research. Advanced Stochastic Modelling. Part of the Servei d'Estadística Aplicada (SEA) of the UAB. The goal of the group is to analyse and solve practical multidisciplinary problems through stochastic and statistical modelling tools, and apply the ideas and results obtained in the theoretical investigation to problems arising from a wide range of areas.
