Resum:

Goal: Two common treatments for epilepsy are compared for the time to first post-randomization seizure. There is a count of the number of epileptic seizures that are experienced by each individual in the 6 month before randomization. A join model for both, the count events of pre-randomization and the first time post-randomization, is presented.

Methods: Survival Analysis with pre-randomization event count as a covariate parametric Survival Models and Poisson process.
